i`ve download minilogin and its alright but when i login into everquest i can`t login into any server. i can`t see any server and in the minilogin stand
couldn`t open the LoginServer.ini file and
couldn`t open the MiniLoginAccounts.ini file

You have to create a miniloginaccounts.ini file... and the loginserver is read from the loginserver.ini file.. you need to make sure these files are in the same directory as your zone.exe, world.exe files are...:)

but there came every time an error like this

Do you HAVE a miniloginaccounts.ini file? DID you create one??? If you didnt then you dont have that file in there... :)

but there always the same error and i can login until the server selection. there are no server

That means your MySQL admin is not running:

go to C:\mysql\bin and run WinMySQLAdmin.exe

That should fix.

It's because the mysql server isn't running, make sure "mysql-nt.exe" is running on the processes tab of Ctrl + Alt + Del (Task manager). if it's not boot up winmysqladmin or mysql-nt in the mysql\bin directory.

Post your world.exe and zone.exe windows. Are you sure that the zoneservers have connected to the worldserver? Check it says LOCKED=FALSE in LoginServer.ini.

DB Query Error #2006: MySQL server has gone away This error is generally due to a few things.


Your DB was sourced incorrectly
You tried to use a blank DB that has NO data in it
The DB you are trying to use is NOT compatible with the server version you are trying to run
You have'nt sourced a DB at all
You dont have permission to use the DB that you have sourced
You dont have the .sql files located in the /mysql/bin directory


Check to make sure it is NOT one of the following.. I would start from scratch (on the DB not the whole server) and MAKE very sure you follow the tutorial/s correctly on how to source. Also make sure you use one of the newest DBs out there....

/edit This is all assuming that MySQL IS up and running, as Monrezz suggested...
