This is going to sound bad, but... does anyone know of any zone lines that actually work? I mean both ways? I have yet to find any that I can use to test my content (aka play). Some of them try to boot the correct zones, High Keep/Pass for example, but so far not one works. At least not for me.

I'm looking for some sort of starting point for my PC's with a lair/dungeon nearby.

Anyone?

None of the zones work?? Are you sure your using the Boot5zones.bat and not loading zones by themselves? If u are using boot5zones.bat make sure the IP is correct (and only change the 127.0.0.1 to your real IP and nothing elce)

Btw if you set it up correctly every zone in the game will work including all EQ, RoK, SoV and Luclin zones. Also Tutorial, load, cshome, gmhome all work (if you have the zone files)

Hmm

hogger -- do you mean that you can't move from one zone to another by walking or that you can't #zone? I don't believe that zonelines have been implemented yet. The fact that some zones seem to sort of work is because of some hard coding in the zone object that the client deals with.

but you can easily #zone right now.

You can /zone also. :p

Of course I realize that #zone works. I'm talking about walking here.

Rephrased: Does anyone know of an instance where two zones are connected by hard coded zone lines and a player could walk from one to the other and back again as of this the most current release?

(Now that's a run-on sentance)

Looking at the database, there are some zone points listed. I'm willing to bet that you can simply add more zone points if you insert them into the database yourself.

hey i got another zone working but there is only one problem. its a one way zone lol. once you zone in by walking you have to type #zone (zonename) to get out

it is from northqeynos to qeynos hills.
:):)
if i find any more i will fill you all in ok

Basically, for a zone point to work (in 0.20, it might be fixed in a later version) you need to have both a hard-coded zone point in the zone 3D file, and a zone point in the emulator DB. If there's only a hard-coded point, it gives a "zone server down" message, and ones only in the DB don't work at all.
There are quite a lot of hard-coded points that work if you put them in the DB as well, such as the bridges between the Karanas.

Yeah, that'd be great.
