View Full Version : A couple different Errors

Hello. Sorry to be another of those to ask for assistance, but I can't seem to find anything that fixes what problems I have.

I just patched to live for the first time in a while and everything went well. I then changed my EQhost.txt to the

[Loginserver]
Host=newlogin1.eqemulator.net:5994

one, and checked my already "patchme"d eqgame.exe link.

First time I logged in, I tried a few different servers, I think one of each version, all of which got me right up to the part where I'd enter the world, but then booted my back to the login screen, most of the time with a 1017 error.

I looked around on the boards here for a while, and experimented with some things (older eqhost versions, the other eqlsclient.ini, all switched back eventually, mind you). Now, when I logged in, I got an "Error-- Timeout occured."

So I made a new login and tried it again, to no avail; the same Timeout error kept coming up.

So now, out of ideas, I come here. It's probably some simple mistake that I overlooked, but with the time I've spent on trying to fix this, I hope not. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Care to elaborate? I've patched at least five times...

(note: I reset my eqhost.txt each time afterwards)

Patch to live.

Update your eqhost.txt to what you had in the first post.

you can now only play on 5.9 DR2 servers.
