has anyone used the vonage service? if so what kind of connection did you have at the time, how did you like the service, how was the support etc etc.

please reply good or bad, i just moved and am thinking about useing it.. 30 a month is alot better then the 50 bucks the local phone company wants

Just you and you friends and family buy VoverIP cards. Install them and exchange IP adresses, there you go, no charge accept for mininal price on cards (cheap on ebay), heck you could then set up everyone as a VoIP gateway for their area codes and get local acces to anywhere you have friends.

we didnt leave, we just pulled all support and postings about peq from eqemulators site.

tcs did step down from leading the project and is taking personal time. who knows when-if he is gonna be back.


but back to the subject please.

sprint here in vegas charges like 50+ for normal phone service, vonage only charges like 24.99 a month.

I use vonage, its great for calls anywhere, i've called overseas, usa... (i'm in canada).

I use it on my 4/1mbps internet.
