I find any music highly irritating on web pages personally.

well this is just gana be on the intro and i was trying to find somthing that everyone liked that way it wouldnt bother them to much and it is over when you enter the site. pluse now im thinking about adding a page that will have a bunch of music and links so people can listen to music from my site if they want or. i will have a poll and get a song of the week for people to listen to

Just skip the whole intro page and auto-music thing. They just annoy people and increase the time it takes to get to what people really want to see, which is content.

I totally agree with darvik, that music is annoying on a site. And i am against the idea of a second music page. The more useless creap you've got to go through to get to the files, the less useful the site is. What your doing is a good ide (centralizing the files) but keep it simple, the developers have a nice site here for everything else. :D

I think you were missing the point that everyone was making hack_attack . Most people find music annoying and pointless. While it may seem like a neat idea when you're 13 , along with the purple background and bright neon yellow and pink text scrolling and blinking like some sort of suburban bar gone haywire ; to most people, it's just plain stupid, and the first thing people like us try to do is figure out where the controls are to turn it off. Which is just another annoying thing to have to do - instead of just going straight to the content. Take it from the people who do this sort of thing for a living - forget about music on web pages.

well sorry then
personaly i find it soothing to have a nice soft song in the background while your reading up on how to install somthing or checking out the latest news. or even chating with other people. ( i was thinking about making a chat page but never really tried yet)

but if you all think the music is a bad idea then i will have buttons that say on and off that way if you wana here the music you can click play. other then that it will be like a normal page. you go to the site and get the data. and no music unless you click the play button that will be at the top right corner or maybe bottom

that way everyone is happy.

oh and im not 13
thank you bye
:D :D
