Server Questions

Hi all,

I've been connecting to the emu via Host=eqemulator.net:5994 in my eqhost file. I've noticed alot more open servers there as of late. Checking the server list on the emu page I found alot more servers that says status is up but is not listed when I connect on server select page.

I thought it was maybe i was directing to the wrong login so i changed Host=eqemulator.net:5994 to Host=eqemulator.net:5998 as was directed in the faq for logging in, but it doesnt connect to anything.

Any info on this would be great.

The web-based server list page is not updating periodically like it used to. The server select is your authoritative list.

always quick to respond as usual. So the new login is 5994 and not 5998 then ?

If you have an older client, use port 5994. If you are using the current live client, use port 5998.

I Have the current live client, and i say its not helping very much, Still get an error 1017

The patch just the other day, may 11th I think was the day, broke the live compatability.
You need client prior to that to log into the 0.6.1DR1 servers.
