What I want to do is have every orc in crushbone have a small chance of dropping any piece of woodelf (ranger, rogue, warrior, druid) quest armor. I just started my server yesterday and am new to this. Im using cavedudes db and if there is anyother information you need let me know. Thanks.

That link is for the database editor for their database. I don't think it'll work with other databases (PEQ) since the NPC and other ids are different.

Is there any information on how to do this using Navicat? Ive tried the other editor and couldnt get it working. Any information on adding items to npc would help, I could probably figure it out from there.

Don't know for sure. I just started the EMU a week or so ago, and I'm still in the learning process myself. :p

Might want to post that you can't get it to work on their forums. Hopefully you'll get an answer. :)

Look lootdrop, lootdrop_entries and loottable, loottable_entries
That work with that :)

This editor will work with the PEQ database as well as Cavedudes, prior to 7.0 for all modules. The difference in NPC IDS and such does not matter.

The editor will work for LootTables on the newest version of the Database as the structure has not been changed since I wrote the program. If you are having trouble getting the editor to work send me a PM with the problem I will help you get it up and running.

You can download the editor from here:

Can you alter things while in the game or do you need to make the changes then relaunch the server?

That's awesome sesmar! :) I'm gonna check it out in a bit.

MagicalRage: You have to restart the server for the changes to take effect. In other words, you can make the changes while you're playing, but the edited changes don't go into effect until the next reboot of the server. At least in my experience. I could be wrong though.

I altered the orc trainer in Crushbone to drop the Shiny Brass Shield since it didn't seem like it was dropping. For the test, I set it to drop at 100% chance. When he respawned, he still didn't drop it. I have yet to go back in the game and see him drop it since I've moved to other zones and rebooted the server. But from what another player (level 6) told me, it didn't look like he was carrying it - note that it seems like all NPCs and mobs don't seem to carry what they're supposed to drop for some strange reason. I have yet to confirm this myself, and I hope that it's a small glitch that's fixable.
