This actually happens on live too and I'm wondering if it is a bug that can be fixed on the emulator. Some NPCs and monsters at certain times will seem to flicker all over the place as they walk around. This most commonly looks like the npc walking.... then vanishes and appears instantly in the air only to drop back down to the ground. This repeats over and over as he walks. I'm not sure if it's a pathing issue that could be resolved in the database or just the way EQ handles its net code. If you want a good example, watch the guards in Shar Vahl. Anything to be done about this?

ya this has to do with fixed z pathing which is broken in eqemu atm
