So, I've been working on EOC 2.0 for a while now. I've successfully ported over a lot of the tools in 1.0 and have been working on completely new tools, I should be able to announce a BETA here fairly soon.

One of the tools I've been working on, is something completely unreal.

This tool will change the face of creativity in how we do things as developers and maintainers alike. And I expect this to become a more mainstream known thing than it already is.

What you're about to see is the early stages of this concept but will allow creativity to explode from anyone who has tons of ideas but is just getting started or is not technically inclined in the inner workings of the server.

The EOC platform is intended to be a rapid development platform for EQEmu and I've been working very hard to get 2.0 in a not just BETA form but a very re-presentable form and get public development engaged on it fairly soon.

In the meantime, here are some links and teasers to some of the Commander interface videos.

Here is the concept for the commander interface:

This is getting really impressive! A significant aspect(annoyance?) of designing/developing anything is the feedback loop (how fast can the user make a change and observe the effects of their change), these tools are closing the gap further and further. Looking forward to seeing more innovations!

KLS merged in the socket branch with the latest master which was a huge amount of effort to go through conflicts.

I've picked up development again and will be making a push to not only get this branch into master, but getting EOC completely ready for others to pull down and submit their own changes.

Enjoy this video of a days work of features:

Pretty damn cool, its got me thinking about trying to develop some quests (kinda makes me want to try and learn zone modeling again too..)
