Well, the boss has decided to totally revamp my company's website. He wants all the cool things that people are putting on webpages, and it is driving me a little nuts.

I am looking for something that will allow me to (easily) create a site template and populate it with the junk the marketing/sales people type up.

I'm not a web designer, nor do I wish to be. I was wondering what is used to generate the pages for eqemu? I'm hoping to find something that is this simple and elegant, and I can throw up fairly easily, and let the boss sit in the corner comaring different shades of teal, while I just copy and paste the stuff he types up into the template and let it fly.

Can Anyone point me in the right direction? Or am I jusst screwed?

PS I've played with Adobe GoLive! and it is just too complicated for my patience.

Well, the way our website was made was it was created as a template first.... 1 single file. Then we cut it up into php files.... Our website runs off about 30 different included files now, depending what you are looking at. The news is just pulling from the news forum. here. I haven't seen anything simple to setup the way you want it honestly:\

I personally use phpnuke for my site now which is a flexible content management system with tons of addons.

Here are some links that might help

http://www.phpnuke.org/
http://www.postnuke.com/
http://www.webmasterbase.com/
http://www.mx-system.com/

Postnuke and phpnuke will allow you to use about 300 templates, completley customize it through a admin panel and easily edit the whole site. Also there are lots of great php addons to make the site more dynamic.

Hope this helps a bit =)
