An odd request / idea
 

Hi folks. I am working on a project and would like to set up a private EQ server. I can do that... That's not the issue, what I am wanting is something a little specific.

Basically I want a server where I can explore/go anywhere without aggroing mobs. If there is a way to play permanently invis to all or something that would be ideal. I have no interest in leveling or even actually playing the game. I am only interested in visiting all the locations in classic pre-PoP EQ.

Is this something doable? I'm not really sure where to begin with this and any suggestions or ideas would be great!

Once you spin up the server, go into the accounts table and set your status as 255. Then once in game type this: "#gm on" then "#gmhideme on" with yourself targeted.

Voila! Go where ever you want with no aggro.

Holy cow! That was a fast response. Thank you so much. This is way easier than I figured.

You can also teleport yourself instantly to zones and even mobs within a zone, so travelling around as a GM is super fast and easy.
