Bots disappeared on my server
 

Hello all hoping someone can point me in right direction. I had bots enabled on my server and they worked fine. I logged in one day and the ^bot no longer worked. All the tables are present in the database. How do i get the ^bot command to function again? i tried running windows_server_download_bots but that dosent pull any bot files just world,launch etc and then i have to delete them and repull b/c the server wont start as they reference the old xml config file and not the json config file.

Can you pull the bot binaries again and re-create the xml config file?

I found a copy of my eqemu_config.xml in the backups folder in my server directory.

I pulled my eqemu_config file in from backup folder reran setup_bots it gave me message saying bots should be enabled on server. It changed eqemu_config file to the .json config and no change. In game the ^ command does nothing

Hmm...

Until someone can update the pre-compiled bot binaries to use the new updater..not sure what can be done.

(World invokes the updater..and if it has been updated (which it has,) you'll be stuck in an upgrade loop.)

ok thanks for the help and letting me know) im a newb at this atleast i now know its not something stupid i did on my end!

I updated the binaries and this should be resolved.
