Is minilogin no longer used?

Can't seem to find a binary or source for it and there's no LoginType column in variables... Has everything moved to the "loginserver.exe"?

If you are hellbent on using MiniLogin, you can get it at sourceforge. Loginserver has replaced it but if you are on a private solo server (i.e. you are the only one who runs eqemu on your box), then minilogin is much simpler to set up.

I found it much easier to setup the regular loginserver instead of minilogin, but I guess ymmv.

Nope, not attached to Minilogin. The last time I played with EQEmu it was in use so I was looking for it again. I'll have to hit the wiki and see how to set up the new (to me anyway) loginserver.exe

In my case, it's not so much I'm hellbent on using it, just that loginserver keeps crashing (segfault) whenever the world server makes a successful connection. I suspect because the crypto dependencies are distribution or architecture specific.

Minilogin, meanwhile, seems to accept connections from the world server and clients with no problem, but after I login I don't see any servers.

It would be nice to know if Minilogin is actually supposed to work or not. If it's not expected to work, I'll stop wasting my time messing with it.

It might work, it might not. From what I've read it might require some opcode juggling depending on which client you plan to use.

If I was trying to get something working I'd work on getting a stack trace from the loginserver crash and giving some more details on your platform.
