Making a real Ragebringer
I’m making a Ragebringer, filming it and editing into videos. I’m working on part 4 now. I thought some of you might be interested in seeing it. If you just want to see it finished then this might be boring, it’s more of a maker-video. If that’s the case I’ll take some good shots when it’s all done.
Part 2: https://youtu.be/B-N6984lFJ0 Part 3: https://youtu.be/xnFbmRqq4DA If anyone has any feedback, something else to make next, suggestions on method/process or especially on video editing, just comment on one of the videos, or hit me in discord @Maudigan. I have no idea what I’m doing with this audio/video stuff so advice is welcome. |
I've only gotten to the end of the 2nd video but it looks great already. I'd love to see an attempt at the Ranger 1.5 I've always thought it was a great looking sword. I'm sure it'd be a lot more difficult than this tho.
How long does something like this take from start to finish? |
I work pretty slow, maybe as little as 20 hours, as much as 40. Having that mill to cut the socket shaved a bunch of time off. Surely it gets faster after awhile though, or it gets slower cause you get more exotic hehe.
Ranger epic is actually a really good idea. I think I dismissed it before cause of the guard complexity (still can’t make the details out super great) but I just got an air graver; man do I suck with it still though. |

Part 7 (last part)
https://youtu.be/-ezBdzRvdFo I’m going to cut together a shorter version for people who aren’t interested in the process. Not sure when I’ll get that done but hopefully by next weekend. |
