Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS & Zone Crash (Out of memory!)

New fresh box install running Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS with latest updates/packages, Perl 5.30, mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.3.31-MariaDB.

Box has about 500GB of storage, 8 cpu cores, 80GB of ram and with dev its running 40 zones.

Commands #reloadqst crashes the zone, the dev log shows (Out of memory!), it also crashes when the zone goes to sleep.

Went through a few crash logs and this is all thats in them, however the trace isn't in the directory.

[09-29-2021 :: 18:23:58] [Zone] [Crash] stack trace for /home/eqemu/server_build/bin/zone pid=91962

[09-29-2021 :: 17:54:32] [World] [Crash] stack trace for /home/eqemu/server_build/bin/world pid=78154

I have a feeling that both issues are due to the version of Perl that's being used, but what is the recommendation for Linux running Ubuntu for emu? What version of Perl is supported as I don't have a clear answer from the docs installer and what version of Ubuntu is recommended unless 18.04 or 18.04.1 is the recommendation.

Yes, there are Perl differences between 18.04 and 20.04 that can cause issues. 18.04 is supported until 2028 and is the recommended version of Ubuntu for now. You can also try the Akk stack. https://github.com/Akkadius/akk-stack
