Faction Check ?
I've been trying to get a custom NPC to respond based on a faction check. The following is based on a couple of examples I found,
that, supposeably, the ($faction >= 1401) should work. But the examples I used were old, old posts. I put the NPC on freeport militia faction, which it does con warmly, (as intended) but neither of these attempts will do anything for the faction check part of it. This first one, the NPC will only repond with the "Be gone fool", even though the toon has appropriate faction and cons warmly. Code:

I Thank You for that Turmoiltoad. I read through that Faction Overview page on wiki, but I didn't see the Faction Values one until you linked it.
There is a lot of those lua scripts in the current quests now and I run into random ones that are broken, but I am not "lua savvy", so I have to learn that in time. |
