Archery looking like slashing.

I think this was fixed, but for some reason I cannot find the fix for it... Anyone have the fix for this?

NatedogEZ 11-02-2015 12:31 PM

If you update your source its fixed.

Nerdgasm 11-03-2015 04:18 AM

That'd make sense. I haven't updated my source in a while. =P

Nerdgasm 11-03-2015 05:15 AM

Huh. Must have broke it. Lol.

When I run world.exe I get the following.

Still shows up as slashing instead of archery.

What I did:

Dropped DB via drop_system.sql, resourced it with peqbeta_2015-08-12-02_01.sql, data_tables_2015-08-12-02_01.sql, and even player_tables_2015-08-12-02_01.sql, applied all updates in the 'required' and 'optional' folders via 'git pull' on my source folder. Logged in, and it was still slashing. Something I did notice, my database version didn't change, when I started ran db_updated and world.exe it still showed 9066.

I'm kind of at a loss for what to do.

Also before you ask - No, I was not doing this on the DiabloQuest database. Was doing it on a clone.

You really should update via eqemu_update.pl .. or that screen that you linked earlier from running world.exe (optional not-withstanding..)

It will only apply what needs to be applied and helps minimize accidental schema reversals.

As to the animation, can you list what client version and weapon were being used?

EDIT: ..or verify that at least more than one client version is affected and multiple archery weapons were tested.

The issue was fixed a long time ago Uleat. He has an old source :p

Nerdgasm 12-16-2015 05:15 AM

Yeah I suck and was using an old source, like I guess from 2015. Lol. S'all good. It's fixed, thanks Nate! =)
