How independent is a private server?
 

Are private servers completely independent or do they rely on external sources once installed?

Only really the login server. You can run your own LS too, but you will probably not get traffic unless you're already established.

if you want traffic on your server you can setup a dual login so they can login through the eqemu login or through a private login on your pc
