Looking for info for server Hosting

Hey guys, I'm looking for information on server hosting. I have never owned a server before only helped maintain them so I'm pretty much new in this area. What I am needing is something affordable that can run a server that averages 65 players daily with 100 or so at peak times. No clue how much bandwidth I need or specs i need so I thought id reach out to the community for some insight.

I would start with netsol.com or godaddy.com ask your local isp in your area most cases they will allow you setup a computer and you have to maintain your computer pay fee for services.

I use cloud at cost and there's always AWS as well.

NFO Servers has been very good for me. Tried a few others before landing on this one.

Keep in mind that running a server is a bit more involved than setting it up on your LAN. Firewall rules are VERY important. Otherwise your server will be short-lived. You will be responsible for all of that, and it's no small thing.

OVH has been reliable for me for years. Go with them.

I am going to sound like a broken record here, but I will do it anyway.

No matter what you choose make sure there are plenty of backups. Then backup those backups and then back it all up again.

Holy Shit, that is a legit price Secrets. If I ever go hosted, I will refer back to this thread. That is a great bang for the buck.

Yea i have an extra PC at home but my net isnt reliable enough to maintain a server. 16mbs down and only about 1.5mbs up. I say this because when we are using all our devices we are probably usuing at least 12-14 at our peak times for personal use.
