Server Hosting
 

Anyone suggest a good hosting service for a server, forum, magelo, similar to the other servers on the list? Preferably a VPS login server of some sort. My internet service provider is unreliable or I would host it on my desktop. Thanks for any info.

Depends on how much you want to spend, what monthly bill do you want and how big of a server do you want?

Just looking for a personal server to test quests and play approx. 10-20 toons on.

Run it on your Pc, or google windows servers, there are some cheap VPS's out there.

Like Excuses suggested "Run it on your Pc". It really doesn't take much, especially with less than two dozen players.

Could probably handle the db on a toaster..but, definitely would need at least a refrigerator for the server :D

Maybe, but I definately wouldn't trust it on a samsung galaxy (grin)

Atleast you would know the server would be banging

It's funny, cause you can actually run an EQ server on a rooted galaxy.
