Translocators
It seems to me that it is impossible for a standard user to travel to all lands in the current Kunark DB as there are no stones in the POK zone, no scions in the Nexus zone and the translocator quest files are not supplied with the DB?

Like you said, people have written them, just kept them to their own server.
I had them written in a quest pack, but never released it. Not to mention for when the Live Like Quest pack was going, it wasnt done because of the way quest spellcasting works, it wouldnt be exactly like live. |
yep... thats the #1 problem that plauges quests in generally... nobody shares... so thanks.
Im going to include these in the official PEQ quest set. Which will get released/worked on as time allows of course. The plan is to release what we have with DB releases... maybe more frequently. |

#1. sleep in a quest is a bad bad bad idea, in fact im going to disable it in the future. It causes the entire zone to sleep... AI and all. #2. you should be able to self cast the acual spells to move them, no need to use some random spell and movepc. the whole issue with the other spells is that you cannot cast them, you have to selfcast them because they are beneficial, they should still work though. |
I could not locate all of the required spells in the current database, and only added the bogus spell effect as an after thought.
Thanks for pointing out the problem with sleep, I never would have noticed this bug as i run a single user server. I have removed the offending spell effect and associated delay. |
Not sure if this will help, but here is a list of all spells in EQ that teleport you somewhere in the same fashion as the Teleport style spells, maybe you can locate your missing entries in here:

After looking at a few it appears the only thing missing is the NPC Info. So this quest package is going to be accepted for now under the PEQ Category.

I can tell you that what I experienced in that 1 expansion(Kunark) was exciting as it was dangerous to go around without a good team, and even like that there was no way for us to know what to expect since there were no maps or allakhazam to spoil our adventures....but as all good things have to come to an end... and so the next expansions were laid and the rest is history. P.S. Use the search button... you will find the translocator quest files somewhere in the quests section, here is a translocator missing I just fixed, it ports you to iceclad, but there are no mobs or npcs up on velius if you used the PEQ database on your server. yeah , really strange thing , the dock that the translocator is spose to be standing on is going straight into the air instead of out to the sea, I just moved him and did #spawnfix , he was underwater before that cause he had no dock to stand on .
