Suggestion, PQ.

Suggestion:
Move the PQ (Project Quarm) server to "Legends" straight away, if possible. For easier overview, as it's already established itself as one of, if not the main server at the moment :-)

Unfortunately, large player quantity is not the only deciding factor for server status. Legends servers are those who have been established and maintained good standing, population, etc. for years, not just a month or two. There are currently no plans to do any server promotions or demotions at the moment either. Project Quarm is also not a part of the EQEmulator community, solely using the loginserver for metrics, as you cannot log in with their client on the public loginserver and have to use the TAKP one instead.

Thanks for clearing that up, very much appreciated :-)

Though, PQ has certainly already proven some of its worth, to some extend at least :-) TAKP is also a Legends server, which of course has been established for a decade already, but also using another client.

It would be nice with some sort of recognition of what PQ has achieved through some incredibly hard work here in its beginning. Of course large player quantity cannot stand alone, but there's at least a lot of familiar faces connected to this project, who have arguably done great work for the EQE community as a whole over the years, with work distributed over a number of different Legends servers already :-)

Anyway, in time, I for one would very much like to see PQ climb to at least Preferred Servers before long, as I feel that the community has already acknowledged something quite remarkable here - though it of course stands on and has been built from the amazing work that has gone into TAKP throughout the years :-)

Cheers all, and hats off to the entire team behind the Project Quarm server for this amazing launch - and for breaking the 2k mark in less than five weeks )

After now 7 months of steady high numbers and a very happy player-base, I'd like to suggest to move the Project Quarm server to Preferred Servers =)

I know that Quarm still uses the Legacy client, though I don't think that client alone should really dictate anything in this regard. Quarm might still move on to RoF2 at some point (though with the latest great addition of Zeal, it might be further out now).

Kunark is about to open on PQ, with the Iksar-only launch happening here in less than a month. Meanwhile, e.g. the Self-Found-flagged community is raising on the server, which has really been great to see as well =)

Cheers,
Cal.

Moving PQ to Legends does NOTHING.

You physically cannot login using PEQ LS.

There's absolutely zero reason to add it to Legends.

The suggestion was "Preferred Servers" (the other one was a rather old one) - mostly just as an acknowledgement of its existence as one of the most played emulator-servers currently =)
