EQ Host file not saving... access denied

Hopefully this is the proper place for this- sorry if it's not!

I'm on step 4 of making EQ run. trying to edit the EQhost file with Host=eqemulator.net:5998

I replace it in notepad, i push "save" and it says "EQHOST.txt already exists - do you want to replace it".

I say "yes" and it says "ACCESS DENIED".

Can someone help me out? Why can't i overwrite the file, i don't get it.

EDIT: Google is my friend, sorry for wasting anyone's time...

Run Notepad as Administrator and it'll work.

Hit the Start pearl and type notepad. Don't press enter.
Windows will find Notepad and display it in the Start Menu. Right-click on it, select Run as Administrator. Click Yes if prompted.

Then open the file, change it, and save.

Things are much easier if you move your client out of the Program Files directory. The special permissions required there cause all sorts of trouble.

Look up "taking ownership of a file/folder" that should fix your issue.
