All Links to old urls: are Not Working
 

Just wanted to make sure the devs were aware that anything linking to an old url is no longer working. Pages display a 404 error stating "Content owner not found".

I am currently using a snapshot from Wayback Machine to view the guides

Thanks for the callout here. All of the forum links have been updated to reflect their new place in the new docs.

Even after delisting all Gitbook spaces from search engines; it is still being crawled. Since the content is innacurate anyways I have blown away the entire organization and all of its spaces. The content can still be accessed via the currenty archived repositories.

It will take up to another week for search engines to crawl and understand that the content is not longer available (404) to remove it from search results.

Similarly, with our new docs site properly returning 404's for links that were wrong but came from Gitbook will also properly 404 so that search engines will have a proper view of what content is fresh and what is not.

We should see things clean up over the next week or so in terms of Google results.
