Controller NPCs despawning on their own

I have been having issues with controller NPCs despawning for no reason. They are not set to despawn in the database, their scripts have no despawning functions, but after a few hours of the server being up they will just vanish from the zones they're in.

I have tested this with 3 different controllers in 3 different zones. They all have different scripts that do vastly different things, so it's not something with their scripts.

They all use the race 127, if that matters.

These are the new zone controllers? I was under the impression you did not spawn them, they spawned on their own.

These are not the new zone controllers, but manually created controllers with the name "_"

On any grids?

Nope, not on any grids. They just stand there and do their thing for a few hours until poofing. Won't come back until I #repop force or reboot the zone

If you do not mind trying something, throw a despawn event out there with maybe a shout in it. That will tell is if the NPC is indeed despawning through he despawn event.

Wasn't there a rule or something added that allowed for rotational spawns? Something that mimicked old live that cycled spawns to increase the chance for named to spawn.

I know a lot of the spawns had despawn timers, or do in the PEQ database. It wasn't anything rule-based that I saw though.

Ok, wasn't sure if it was specific to those timers.
