NPCs falling and bouncing on private server

I made a quick video if someone would like to check it out, I'm not sure why NPCs keep doing this.

I used

http://wiki.eqemulator.org/p?Akkas_PEQ_Server_Installer

to auto install my server, ive made my own server before but never had this issue

moltke24 08-28-2016 11:13 AM

no solutions?

Yeah, I mean, wtf, it's been 22 hours.

This video doesn't exist by the way.. so can't really see what you are experiencing. I have an idea of what it looks like though :p

Check the Maps folder and make sure you have maps in it.. if it doesn't grab them from here..

Glad this exists, I thought I was losing my mind (which, really, wouldn't be a surprise, but is nice to know that isn't what's happening here), as I could have sworn this was already being discussed.

going to try and just replace my current maps folder with that content and see if that fixes it

Okay i replaced the entire folder with everything in the github link and still having the same issue

Uleat 08-28-2016 01:30 PM

What client are you using?

EDIT: Actually... I noticed some issues with nektulos in both Ti and UF.

Seems to be spawning me underground in Ti..

..and mobs did bounce a little in (the new) nektulos when z changes were not minor.

Is this the only zone that affects you, moltke24?

Looks like it, i ran out to east commonlands and wasnt having the issue, must be a nek forest issue?

NatedogEZ 08-28-2016 03:00 PM

nektulos has 2 versions of the zone.. 1 version is for people with the OLD file and the other version is for people with the newer file.. so you need to make sure its placing you in the correct version of the zone.

Off hand I don't remember which version is which but shouldn't be too hard to figure out.. just make a simple quest to send to between version 0 and 1 of the Nektulos zone.

moltke24 08-28-2016 03:43 PM

in the maps folder i see
nektulos.map
nektulos.wtr
nektulosa.map
nektulosa.wtr

you want me to remove one of them and see if it works?

NatedogEZ 08-28-2016 09:38 PM

Go to ecommons.. then zone into nektulos from ecommons.. and the zone will be perfectly fine..

In reference to what Natedog stated, zoning in the regular way (without #zone)
nektulos is what it's supposed to be. But if I use the gm #zone to go in, the
mobs are all wacked in spawns, etc. But works fine otherwise.
