When boredom sets in...
...you go googling for how to convert Quake 3 maps to EverQuest (if you want to know how, see this: http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...yZoneImporting)
and this happens: http://theedgeserver.com/de_dust_eq001.jpg http://theedgeserver.com/de_dust_eq002.jpg http://theedgeserver.com/de_dust_eq003.jpg |
Secrets:
That's funny. I used to work on a project called Ever-Strike which was a total conversion of CounterStrike to EQ using bows. I actually imported CS weapon models in and everything. For some reason your textures are screwed up on that import you did. It's probably because I exported it to 3ds max and used the raw textures or something. |
what did you use to export to 3Ds Max ??
|
hmmm... I can honestly say I don't remember. I think there may have been a plugin for 3ds max at the time that I had that supported the Q3 format.
I remember that I had it in 3ds format because I had to scale the zone down. It was too big and there were some texture issues. WC fixed that when I complained to him about texture size issues with mapping. |
