Different question about admin program...

For some reason when I try to commit changes it says the items database is not in edit or insert mode, whilst when i look in the Winmysqladmin program it says it's privlidges...

Im using the mini login and connecting to make a server on my computer. everything goes smoothly, but after I log on, my server is not in the server list, i mean there is nothing there.

I re-did the databse that came with the zip file, set up everything correctly, and its still says incorrect version with the new version.
