Not compiling on Ubuntu 17.10

I used the installer script, but I'm getting the following on a new Ubuntu 17.10 install:

[ 12%] Building CXX object common/CMakeFiles/common.dir/misc_functions.cpp.o
[ 13%] Building CXX object...
