Often you see a server try to get mobile, but with a dev that gets
"unintentionally" impatient, wanting to get it up and running, then
encounters unexpected issues that were not tested before launch.
It can be hard to catch the majority of bugs until players get on it,
but I guess some people, even though they have good intentions don't
try to minimize the surge with extensive testing before that.
Running a one man show can be difficult, but at the same time, good
help is hard to find, when your only option is to trust the reliability
of GM's to help manage it. Everyone has to sleep and work sometime.
This one custom project I am working on, won't be done until spring at
least, but I will be running through it all, as a player to test it all
from newbie to max level and everything inbetween, before it goes public.
Sometimes I think people are in too much of a hurry, but EQEmu is not
going anywhere soon. It will always be there.
