Recently been looking into how the release of Paineel made changes to Odus - Paineel looks to have been released ~2 months before the end of Classic, and while erudites weren't able to be shadowknights until then from what I read they were able to be Necromancers.
Thanks to a post from here by ChaosslayerZ and according to the p99 wiki map Erudite necromancers had a hut near the druid ring, I was able to find a page from March of 2000 that listed at least 1 of the NPCs that used to hang out there.
