After following the guide I'm getting the following.
Using the Server.sln that comes with the SVN checkout
Build: 4 succeeded, 2 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped

I've also rechecked my settings in Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition

My build has the following files in it:
