Forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong area, but here is my idea:

I want to create a quest where players have to go and find an NPC and lead them back to an area to unlock the bot function for their character. From what I've read so far, the bot system is black and white. I.e. I either enable bots for the server or I don't. I essentially want to provide players the ability to unlock bots as a pseudo merc system, but not allow bots outright.

I wanted to pose the question to see if anyone has info on whether what I'm thinking is even possible.
