thread, first I got EQEmu Debian Linux install done following these awesome instructions:

I even installed Docker and Docker-Compose
Could have used Akk-Stack first but..
Anyway, I downloaded the Occulus | EQEmulator Web Admin Panel to see if I could start process
- downloaded Linux release from Releases (eqemu-admin-linux) placed in eqemu/server/bin
... thats about as far as I got, sudo bash eqemu-admin-linux gave me:

I wanted to learn about Akk-stack... but I already installed the server and compiled so... isn't really necessary to do over actual server install
akk-stack will do it ALL and I'll use it on next fresh install...! *facepalm*
..worked as intended

- set Starting Zones,

-set to Titanium client
-finally getting to character creation without crashing back to login
Seems like I'm close but need to understand more how to change the server start variables.. i opened my ports .. im learning quickly as people have done a lot of this work already.. i just want to share this info for the next user but ill take any advice (like READ the README next time?!) ...
