Default EverQuest Sod

I have a Question. I have had Sod in the past on my official account. now if i wanted to tell my EQ to update and download the sod files. Will it work. I don't wan tot buy something iv bout before

You need the exact version that you get from the Steam download. If you update with the live servers, you'll be updated all the way through Underfoot, even if you are not allowed to use the Underfoot expansion on live.

I haven't checked it lately, but it was selling for only $2.50 for quite some time on Steam.

Yeah, unfortunately that sale has ended and it is back to 19.99 there for now. Though, for as awesome as the client is, I think it is well worth that for any player that enjoys EQEmu and plays on a server that supports SoD.

I think if you had bought the SoD from steam and you updated it to live, you could just uninstall it and download it again through steam and not update it. I don't see there would be a problem with that.

That is probably true, but my guess is that he bought it from SOE, not from Steam, in which case it wouldn't work.

Default SoD for steam

You could try the install games on steam--that might work
