Default patchme wont work

Okay so i just got the SoF expansion bundle, i got it installed and i do the patchme thing and changed me EQhost and i try to start it up and it tried to patch to live and also tries to download the station launcher, any ideas?

Make sure the shortcut is pointing to eqgame.exe and not everquest.exe

okay that fixed it but brought up another problem...when i start it the screen goes black and blink a little and i get an error ill post what the error is in a min

its an application error idk if it has to do something with me running vista 64bit but i dont know what causes this problem and sorry for the double post

Did you make sure to reinstall SoF cleanly/unpatched again?

Make sure you delete the whole folder after uninstalling before you reinstall again. Just to make sure you got rid of all patched files.

Also, you might want to try changing your EQ resolution or desktop resolution. Your issue is probably one of the fairly common ones. You can check the FAQ in my sig for more help.

Make sure you have the DirectX SDK with the d3d* files.
