Only thing that hits enemies is bash, swords just dont do anything. And yes, i am in range ... otherwise bash would not work.

Are you using a laptop or something? The # key should work fine unless you are on a special keyboard like a laptop one. If so, you may need to use a certain keystroke or unlock a setting or maybe just hold the FN key while you press it.

As for being unable to melee attack, do you mean you will not even swing at all, or do you mean you can swing, but that you get "invulnerable" messages about your target?

There are a few things that can look confusing when playing on a GM character. Try playing on a normal character on a non-GM account and see if attack works ok then. If so, then your main character probably has a weapon equiped that is too high level requirement to use, or maybe they have #hideme on or something.

The 'unable to attack' issue sounds like you haven't got the zone .map files installed into your Maps subdirectory, i.e. if your server is installed into c:\eqemu, you should have a bunch of .map files in c:\eqemu\Maps, one for each zone, e.g soldungb.map, southkarana.map, etc.

OMG /shame

ok youre right ... old maps were extraced into maps/maps .... :-/

Got another problem now ... my EQemu Server and Minilogin are running on my Laptop.

I also run 1 client to play on this machine.

Now i have another PC on my LAN, i wrote into PC(2)'s eqhost file

[LoginServer]
Host=IP of Laptop(i.e.192.168.0.21):5999

but PC(2) isnt able to find the login server.

i pinged between both, 0% loss with a few ms delay

are there any ports to forward ?

Titanium/SoF will be 5998... SoD will be 5999 (but, it only works with the new login server) if my memory serves me. Are you sure you're using the right port? It's been a long time since I've played with minilogin, though. However, I know thats correct on the new login server.
