Default Server issues.

I'm having issues with getting a server up and running. I used Akka's server pack and I couldn't zone, it kept putting me back into tutorialb with a thing saying I wasn't in a group, I uninstalled Akka's server pack and went through it myself, dotted my I's crossed my T's, and when I fire up the server everything loads, no errors displayed (I don't have a zone window), but my server isn't on the list, when I loaded the zone window it still isn't on the list.

I'm using the XAMMP method, by the way... Don't know if that's something with it or not. I'm debating just doing it without it... First time I've used it.

I prefer the XAMPP method personally, it's a nice package and it includes "normal mysql" as well

The only time I had an "issue" with MySQL was when I installed XAMPP and then VS on the "server" computer, with it's insistent push to install its junk MySQL Lite crap. It caused all sorts of havoc until resolved.

I'm not seeing the issue though, aside from world stating you have updates in the manifest to be applied. world.exe is NOT running (not in the sense of running the eqemu world) in the screen shown, just fyi.

Also, are you sure XAMPP is completely uninstalled? If so, remove the path to the mysql install from your environment path (unless c:\xampp\mysql\bin is where your actual mysqld.exe is located).

But yeah, you have updates that need to be applied. Backup your DB, then select 3.

That's how I read it anyway. Not sure why you are showing your Windows FW stuff?

Thanks for the reply, I actually did install VS and XAMPP on the server computer, it's actually the computer I use for everything Everquest, actually. xD.

I'm pretty sure it's uninstalled I did totally forget to remove it from the environment path, good call. Lol.

So, I selected 3 and it said I was missing one, I sourced it, and it said duplicates detected, shut everything down and restarted everything back up. and my Server is working... -shrug- whatever I guess. It works, thanks. Lol...
