Default .txt file eror

I want to change the eqhoste.twt file. but ther is a problem with it.

When I open it and cange the login server name and I want to save it it says: 'Can't create the .txt file, check if the pad and the file name are correctley written'.

Then I click on OK

Then it opens 'Save As'
I save it as 'eqhost' and as a .txt file and click on Save

It says, 'the file already exists, do you want to oversave it?', I click Yes.

And then it says again 'Can't create the file, ...'

I tried ervrything, help me

I remeber running into this problem on my Vista laptop. My workaround for a while was:
1) Save the txt to a different location (desktop)
2) Delete the eqhost.txt out of my Everquest directory
3) Move the new txt into my Everquest directory (from desktop to c:\program files\Sony\Everquest\)

Have not played on my Vista laptop in a while so I am not sure if it still has this problem.

It could also be set to Read-Only, by right clicking the txt and clicking "Properties" you should see some chekc boxes on the bottom of the window that pops up, if Read-Only is checked, you cant make any changes to the file. Uncheck it and click ok.
