History:
The server started as a project between three friends in the winter of 2005. A dedicated server was built and an official name for chosen for server the spring of 2006, the first Zeb server was born. Zeb gained a lot of popularity and hit the Preferred Servers list but had to be taken down temporarily in the Summer of 2007 when I moved to an apartment without the needed bandwidth. The server made a strong return in February 2008. After we came back up I tried to keep the server population low while I did heavy development. The bulk of that development push has been completed and I welcome all players back to the server.

Zeb Server Goals:
My goal has always been to create a full-custom experience that people will have fun with. If you like to play solo, with friends, or were born to raid and get the big loots, Zeb has something for you. I encourage fun and cooperation on the server and I try to treat each player equally and with respect.

Leveling Setup:
The max level on the Zeb Server is 70. From 1-70 the content is completely soloable but there are group opportunities at any level and many players choose to group up. The leveling pace is set so you never have to grind experience. You will never have to run a dungeon more than once to get to 70 and most players do not experience everything there is to offer the first time through. Quests are also very rewarding in both experience and loot so I suggest you don’t pass any up! At 70 there is a range of content that is built for players to solo, group, and raid. The end game is very developed and players will find themselves having a lot to do after they hit 70. Check out all 38 Custom Zones in this Zone/Level Spreadsheet. Layout:
The server is centered on the City of Cabilis. This is where players will start, prepare, and gather for their adventures into the world. Three "open world" zones attach to Cabilis: Warsliks Woods, Field of Bone, and Western Wastes. Each of these zones contain quests, dungeons, and the not-so-rare dragon. Cabilis is also home to a slew of merchants that will sell you all sorts of things. I have spent a lot of time developing a balanced economy through merchants and item drops so money is worth something. All NPCs, Items, and Quests are completely custom, (everything except the zones they are in). To help you get around the custom world I have compiled some Custom Maps on the Zeb Downloads Page.

New Features:
There have been thousands of accounts that have come through Zeb through the years and many of you have played on old Zebuxoruk. The server idea made it successful in the past and those ideas have remained the same. With that in mind I have put in a lot of work to make the server even better:

-2200+ Custom Items
-Almost 100 Custom Quests
-Max Level of 70
-38 Custom Zones
-Scripted Events and Bosses from Level 3-70+
-New 1.0 Quest in Tower of Frozen Shadow
-Reworked Liberation of Zeb Quest (The Famous Shield Quest)
-Every zone, NPC, and Item has been adjusted for balance and even progression
-New 1.5/2.0 Quest that Spans 3 zones: Western Wastes, Dragon Necropolis, and Temple of Veeshan which ends in one of the most amazing scripted events on the server.
-Brand New Content Zones Since February: Warsliks Wood, Field of Bone, Western Wastes, Dragon Necropolis, Temple of Veeshan, and Plane of War.
-Crushbone and Kael have been completely revamped
-Heal and Mana items to minimize downtime
-PvE Centered Server with optional PvP
-Class specific custom armor set quests
-Helpful GM staff
-Icecomets!

Community:
As I stated before I encourage cooperation and a big part of that is establishing a strong server community. We have great activity on the Zeb Server Forums. We are also getting a few people on the mic so please feel free join our Ventrillo Server to ask questions, and meet new people.

The Zeb Server is a full custom experience and I encourage everyone to give it a shot. As Zeb's owner and developer I am very excited and proud of where the server is today and my plans for future development. Ultimately I enjoy developing and helping players and I hope to share my hobby with the rest of you through Zeb.

Zeb Relaunch Weekend:

Because this the first time I've pushed for players since my February comeback I will be holding multiple server events this weekend (August 15-17). Free items and ice comets will be handed out. I also have plans for another Level 1 Death Match for awesome required level 0 items among other events.

Events will probably take place each evening this weekend so be sure to log on, check us out, and have fun!

One of the best servers in EQEmu history. I have played on Zeb since it first started back in 2005.

Jibbatwinkers is one of the best developers of custom content there is. I have played on other servers but always found my way back to Zeb.

The newest improvements that have been made recently are amazing. If you are looking for a great server with a great GM and an awesome community of players. Come and play on Zeb, you won't ever want to leave.

Simply amazing update, incredible amount of content. Great balanced gameplay, I cant stop having fun, i recommend this server to everyone. Jibbatwinkers has been working on this server for around three years and it shows. The content and lore are all well thought out and has a very polished and refined feel.

I've been in the EQEmu community since 2004 and I have to say this is one of the best looking servers out there.

I definitely agree. Jibba does top-notch work. His server has a ton of great custom content. His latest updates sound really cool and make his server unique among many custom servers that have similar feels to them. If you haven't yet tried out Zebuxoruk, or even if you have tried it in the past few months, I recommend giving it another try. Since he brought his server back up this year, he has been working hard to get it ready for a large player base. I think his most recent changes signify that his server should be ready for the masses.

I played on Zeb the first time it was up and his content was amazing. He has done a complete overhaul on everything to get them up to his high standards. He has completely rebalanced all loot on the server and has more custom items than probably most of the other custom servers all combined, lol. His server should have a cool custom feel to it that I think anyone can enjoy. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something new and exciting

Agreed. This server takes the cake for awesome. Played on it 2 years back, and had a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing what Jibb can do again.

I don't quite remember when I started on the Zeb server, a few years ago.

I do know this however when Jibba had to shut it down that is when I stopped playing on the EQemu servers, it just wasn't interesting enough to me.

I am glad I decided to log in one day and find that Jibba brought it back, with many improvements. The new starting zone takes a little bit to get used to but it has alot in it.

Zeb's back in a great way! The new starting zone is huge, and tons of custom content make this one of the best servers out there. The player base is growing and a couple guild have just started, maybe time for more people to come.

I'll be running some events tonight at 10PM EST. It's short notice only about 3.5 hours from now but if we get them going they usually last a while (we'll do a bunch of different things) so don't worry about getting in late.

I'll be making up some unique rewards and custom items for the events so be sure to log on and have some fun with us. Everyone 1-70 is invited and you will definitely leave with something.

We'll start of with something everyone can enjoy like a level 1 PvP tournament or scripted raid event and move ahead from there based on who logs on. Should be some fun, everyone get their cold resists up!

My wife and I have been having a lot of fun on the Zeb server. Jibbis the most hands on GM/Dev I have ever seen. There has been extreme work done on the server to balance everyone out. It is also super stable. Come give Zeb a try :>

I've been playing on zeb for the past week and I'm really enjoying myself. I never got dropped zoning once and and the custom quest on the server are motivating. Also Jibb is very interactive with all the players. It's amazing how fast he is with his bug fixes. I definitely recommend this server too anyone wanting a completely new experience to the EQ world.
