Help with conections

ok guys im all but finished one small i hope small issue has arouse im useing minilogin and am now emplimenting the few accounts that are not on my lan and when they atempt to log in it says the server has timed out anyone have any helpfull info on this topic i couldnt find any searching for it any ideas are apriciated
