Default New Linux Install

I'm trying to install the sever on linux. I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 and have followed the debian guide as best as possible along with some help from reading the forums.

For some reason I run this command and it just sits there and never processes.

Code:
grep -Ril Di386 * | xargs perl -pi -e 's/ -Di386//g'

Nevermind I figured it out lol. I had a few files in the build directory that should not have been there in the first place. Yay me for being dumb!

glad you figured it out

if you compile with bots and you have the latest SVN checkout (or at least newer than 1085), you're going to need to check the Development:Bots forums for the build instructions, because a ~lot~ has changed in the past week or so. There is more stuff you need to add to the zone/makefile.common file.

Yeah I tried to compile for bots and kept getting errors. However thanks to the awesome forums and support we have here I was able to figure it out. My server booted up and I was able to login, create and spawn bots.

If anyone wants to try my server and report back any problems you can find mine under KCS International.
