Question Hotkey Question

I've been working with my server for a while and have had a few issues that have cropped up quite a bit:

1) Making hotkeys/macros are possible, however getting the button from one place to another is problematic- they won't drag from the actions menu. ((The workaround I've been using is dragging a button from the bandolier and editing it once it's in the bar))

2) Unable to make the button for dragging worn 'clickies' to the action bar.

3) Also, right-clicking items while in inventory does not bring up information about said item... though alt-clicking the item in inventory does work.

Is this just another case of needing to apply an update I've overlooked or is this a setting I need to address in the database?

Thanks in advance!

1) When you try dragging them how are you doing it? You have to left click and hold in till the button raises and is on your cursor before you can drag it.

2) Same thing as 1.

3) It has been a couple years since I have played live, but I do not ever remember being able to right click an item to see its stats, you can either alt + left click, or you can right click and hold in till the window comes up.

Hope this helps

Ah, thanks for the heads up.. It's been a long, long time since I'd played as well, (PoP-ish), and I'd forgotten the 'click and hold' required for Everquest...

I've been more interested in getting the server up and playable than actually sitting back to enjoy the game, itself, save on a handful of different occasions.

No problem, I had gotten used to the eq2 interface and had the same problems.
