Default Findable

I am just curious, what denotes when an NPC should be findable? Looking at the PEQ database for a zone such as POK, some merchants have the findable as true, others as false which is confusing. Other cities may only have three NPC's findable at all. How was it on live?

Generally speaking, findable NPCs on live were Trainers and Merchants. I think the missing ones are either oversights or simply ignored because they liked to put a bunch of the same vendor type in a room to keep from cluttering up the Find menu. How many General Supplies vendors does one really need anyway? You can make any NPC findable really. I've found that some of the old world zones I think they just didn't make it findable either b/c of a client issue or the zone pathing is weird.

They also have Zone Connections that are findable. This one I'm trying to figure out how to make work in EQEmu. I suspect that the zone connection is actually an NPC that's untargetable and under the world at the zone line. At least that's what I'm trying out to see if it works. It always bugged me that they never went back and added them to the old world zones.
