I've done a fresh install on another PC, this one running XP, and I get the exact same issue. I get to server select and lock up after attempting to login to any server. Last line of dbg.txt remains the same:

[Wed Mar 31 12:18:18 2010]00034:WorldAuthenticate: Initiating Login.

Ideas?

Dream_Master, which client version are you running, and did you install it directly from the retail discs? The reason I ask is because your earlier debug shows this:

As far as I know, none of the EQEmu compatible clients were built on that date. What is that, Anniversary Edition?

im having this same issue.

can start game fine,
login fine,
browse server selection fine.

as soon as i go to select a server screen goes black and game is now not responding.

am currently using vista 64bit. have tried all the fix's in the dual core thread.
have also tried using win eq.

details from my dbg.txt are as follows, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Bare with me as I am new to these kind of things. I seem to be having the same problem with getting stuck on the log in screen. Any help would be great.
