Default Any Old School Players??

Or know all/enough?? lol

Basically I'm an "Old School" player, from way back when EQ was still pre-expansions.

To sum up what I'm hoping for, is a way to be able to start off in the game now,
where we originally did. I completely forget which map, area name, etc..
(Hopefully someone here knows what I mean though :-!)

Is that at all possible in any way/shape/form??

What I mean is, with the expansions and updates the client here has, already added/installed.. Is there a certain class/race/mix we have to choose from to start off from the original beginning?? Is there a file we can edit to "Start off at"?? For such??

Am I doing something wrong to begin with??
I keep starting off in areas based on race/class.. generally the same sort of area, npc's to hail to, etc, based on class/race, then head through the cave to get to the "wilderness" just to be able to kill off a snake or two before getting whacked by a skeleton! lol

Any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thank You!

(Yes, other than the other "P-server" recently, It's truly been since the 90s since I've actually played. Other than checking out EQ1 & EQ2 once or twice)..
