Getting rid of Damage Bonus?

Greetings.

I am trying to get rid of Damage Bonus for weapons.
So killing it in the source is clear enough.
What is not clear how to force client to stop showing it?

I went into eqstr_us.txt found this line:

3010 Dmg Bonus: %1

and delete it - the client still shows me Dmg Bonus on weapons in game.

Went through UI files - couldn't find it.
Any ideas?

Running RoF client btw
