Default OpenZone 7.8

1. Fixed some bugs in the ground editor so it works better when using an imported ground rather than one generated with OpenZone.
2. Made some improvements to the code for walking along the ground so it better handles imported ground rather than one generated with OpenZone.

This should help with problems when you're using ground you made in another program...just import the .3DS file normally instead of using "import as ground mesh" (basically that feature is obsolete now).

You can get it here:

One thing with this which is no problem as long as you realize it, If you are using a single large texture for your ground and press the edit ground textures button , check the show other polys then you can see your ground , however it flips the texture so I make two textures one the correct way and one flipped so when I go into the ground texture editor I change to the flipped texture then when I'm done I change back to the texture that is the correct way and that way I can place bounds in the correct place in the ground editor. other then that this version works excellent !! Thanks WC!

Wow! How did I miss *that*?! Okay, I'll put together an update and call it v7.9. I might also see if I can stick one of GeorgeS' orc models in there too.
