Default Original EQ player looking for info

I played EQ1 on Vallon Zek from the early days.

I loved the pvp system, the non instanced dungoens, the focus on teamwork and group pvp. Everything about the game was fantastic. I loved the battles for spawn points or bosses. PoF battles etc. Then slowly the game changed. I do not need to get more specific here.

I left the game and have tried everything else. Not ever finding that perfect balance of PvP and raiding.

I completely dislike all the carebear intancing that games have nows.

I have been waiting for darkfall forever, hoping that it might bring back that gameplay.

So from my understanding this has the original EQ1 with the PvP and everything non instanced?

Are there enough people on the server to pvp? Do people go up to PoH and PoF. Just looking for more information before I go out and try to join.

I played with the following guild during my vallon zek days; Da Bashin Iggles, Twelve Prophets, Ancient Orden / Ancient Dawn

Thanks

For pvp with non instanced dungeons you're best bet is probably Lineage 2... I don't like it myself, but I think it has the type of pvp you might like.

Yes, it sounds like TZ/VZ is the perfect server for you. It is on the preferred servers list, only has up to Kunark available currently, and has a decent number of players every day.
