Default Classic Zones

Ive looked all over the forums through all kinds of searches and wasnt able to find out what I needed to know (though I have learned other things as I went along). I wanted to know if the catastrophic revamps of zones such as Oasis of Marr, both Commonlands, and both Ro's are undone on the EQEmu servers. I know you use Titanium as the client, but I dont remember when the zone revamps first began. I left EQ when they started the revamps, and will NEVER return, but this place may be the way to go back, at least im hoping it is. If the zones are revamped here, then I dont want to waste the money on a game I will never play. Also, I read about you switching to anniversary edition soon, and Im pretty sure the revamps ARE done on those. Would I lose those zones (if they are here) once you switch to anniversary as the client? Thanks you.

the servers here do not have the revamped, that I know of. commonlands is still two zones, I know that much. Ro I think is also. oasis I am sure is still the old one. Now I do think the new lavastorm zones are in and nektolos(mispell i know. It is the dark elf newbie zone)

Most of what we got is the older stuff, although PEQ uses a couple of the newer eqg zones, one being Nektulos. what you have to know is, if you are playing and either Lavastorm or Nektulos doesn't work right, then you need to rename the Nektulos.eqg or Lavastorm.eqg to a backup name. If you play on another server and you again have problems, then rename the backups to eqg again.

knowing how it is with additions of expansions, the newer models of zones will replace the ones we said we have that are old. Newer editions are always a "we do not know" till they are used and we go "oh no! we just made eqemu into bugzilla!" hehe. Not saying it will, usually something important does break when you upgrade to new expansions. fun huh?

Edit: What I said might be wrong so if a dev or admin could confirm or deny the possibility, it would be nice. ^.^

The zones would be outside the realm of eqemu's core functionality and in the hands of each individual server owner, as to whether they are going with the revamped zones or sticking with the old. Eqemu at its core will do either, it's just a matter of the serverops communicating clearly which version of zones are expected to be used and the players inserting or removing the revamp zone files accordingly.

My server runs all of the old zones, including the old lavastorm, nektulos and arena zones (actually we offer both the old and new arena zones) and IF bazaar ever gets fixed (meaning trader actually works in the emu) we plan to run the original bazaar, too.
